Palak Pakoda


    1. 1 cup Gram flour / besan
    2. 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
    3. 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds
    4. Salt to taste
    5. Spinach Leaves
    6. Pinch of baking soda


    1. Take besan a mixing bowl. Add all dry spices to it and mix this all well.
    2. Gradually pour the water and mix to form a smooth batter.
    3. Heat oil in a pan on a medium high.
    4. Coat the spinach leaves in the batter and fry them in small batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels before serving.
