After radio address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will now be available in book titled ‘Mann Ki Baat – A Social Revolution on Radio’. On the occasion of third anniversary of the Narendra Modi government, the book will be launched by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
The first copy of the book will be received by President Pranab Mukherjee. The book release will be held at the Darbar Hall in Rashtrapati Bhavan at 12 noon.
The 444-page book can be pre-ordered on Amazon and is available in both Hindi and English. While the cost of Hindi edition is Rs 210, the English edition is priced at Rs 299.
Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said, “This book is filled with Prime Minister Modi’s enthusiasm for interacting with the people of India, particularly with the youth.. I cannot but feel his strong passion for dialogue with his people.”
The Prime Minister is also quoted in many chapters of the book and also provide an opportunity to the reader to know some unknown facets of Modi’s thinking and belief.
There are interesting anecdotes shared by the members of the Prime Minister’s core team and people from All India Radio and MyGov to quench people’s curiosity about the minute but interesting details of how the idea of a radio programme came up, how the name and frequency were decided, and how the format was chalked out, among other things.
The first radio address by Modi was on October 3, 2014 and have been addressing people every month.
